Servicing an electric or hybrid car
Fewer moving parts, but they still need regular checks.

Electric cars have no oil changes, but they still need servicing.
What is checked
- Brakes: regenerative braking means pads last longer, but discs can corrode from lack of use.
- Tyres: EVs are heavy and wear tyres faster.
- Cabin filter, coolant and brake fluid.
- High voltage system and battery health.
Hybrids also need engine servicing like a petrol car. Choose a garage with technicians trained to work on high voltage systems: look for the EV badge on member profiles.
